Science Week was a bit of a strange one this year, to say the least! We were working between virtual and physical school but did not miss out on the opportunity to get involved and have fun celebrating science.
This year we decided that we could not miss out on the opportunity to look at the science that has been happening throughout the pandemic. From the science of rainbows, the effectiveness of masks, the structure of microbes to the importance of exercise, nature and communication throughout the pandemic.
Miss Dawson, Head of KS3 Science at the Academy, commented: "Despite the challenges we faced during the pandemic this year, all of our KS3 students made a brilliant effort to get involved with Science Week in both physical and virtual school! We are incredibly proud of the resilience they have shown and the fantastic work they have created. They even got creative and carried out practical investigations at home!"
