At our school, we have plenty of talented students and staff, so what better way to put their skills to the test than with not one, but two competitions!

Our first competition involved decorating eggs and their scenery, with many opting for a NHS theme. Our Year 10 student, Kate Holden was the winner for 'best concept' with her 'egg-cellent' hospital scene and Isabella Corr took the title for 'best effort' with her Florence Nightingale egg. Not forgetting our staff winners, Mrs Walshaw for 'best concept' with her pig 'sty at home' egg and Mrs Steward joining Isabella for 'best effort' with her NHS egg.

Our students also got involved with a lockdown 'bake off' where we saw some fantastic entries from scones to cakes. The winner of the 'technical bake' came from Year 9's Brandon with his fantastic hot crossed buns. The 'signature bake' category was so impressive we had to crown two winners, Chloe for her rainbow cake and Olivia for her creme egg brownie!

We think you would agree that all the competition entries are amazing!
