Back in 2019, our Year 7 student, Lucy, won the World Kickboxing Organisation's Open British Championships. Last weekend she returned to the competition to defend her title.
Lucy performed amazingly and became the five-times British champion and continues her reign as points fighter for 2020. Not only did she hang on to her title, but she took on a new division and is now also the continuous kickboxing champion.
Lucy returned home from the successful weekend with three gold medals and 2 silvers.
