Last week, as part of the Erasmus programme, a group of Year 9 students visited Bremen, Germany to learn about migration and refugees.

The students found out what life was like in a refugee detention centre and met with a Gambian refugee who spoke about his experiences. Later, the students travelled to the museum of migration where they were given boarding passes of real German migrants in order to collect information about their lives.

The insightful trip concluded with a visit to a climate house which described how climate change affects us and drives migration. It looks like everyone had a great time!
