Here at The Academy at Shotton Hall, we don't just learn in the classroom. This week, we held a freshers' fair to showcase the huge range of exciting opportunities on offer at the Academy this year.
Teachers attended the event to tell students about the clubs they run and invite them along to the next sessions. The event was extremely popular, particularly with our new Year 7s and lots of students signed up to try something new. The most popular sign-up, for another year, was dodgeball.
Some of the clubs this year include choir, badminton, rugby, cheerleading, media, coding, Harry Potter and drama club. You can take a look at the full list and details here.
