This morning, boys from Year 9 attended an inspiring talk featuring issues such as toxic masculinity and tackling male stereotypes.
The boys had a fantastic time and used posters to redefine what it means to 'act like a boy'. Using prompts, students delivered messages such as:
'I am a boy and I respect girls' opinions and life choices'
'I'm a boy and I don't like football'
'I'm a boy and sometimes I cry'
'I'm a boy and I am capable of showing emotions'
'I'm a boy and I have girls as friends'
Last week, the girls took part in an equally fun and inspiring session focussed on female empowerment named - Girl Power! You can read about the girls' session here.
Well done to everyone who took part!
