Today a group of Year 8 students took part in a science and technology challenge, organised by MCS Projects.
The day included a competition, comprised of three challenges, where children were mixed into teams alongside students from other schools.
Firstly, the children programmed a robot to avoid obstacles in order to win prizes. Then they took part in a medical diagnosis task which involved carrying out an eye exam on each other using a stethoscope.
Finally, the students used E-FIT software, used by the police, to reconstruct faces of criminals. They used this to recreate the face of their teacher.
