Congratulations to Hannah Davidson in Year 10, who was awarded an 8-week scholarship at the Durham County Rowing Club after competing in competitions with the school.
Hannah has attended Shotton Hall rowing club for two years and was awarded the scholarship after finishing in fourth place in the County Durham finals before Christmas. Since then, she has been training once a week with the team and has enjoyed the experience.
Mr Harris, Rowing Coach said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Hannah to gain experience and knowledge from the best rowers in the area. I am sure she will be an asset to their team, as she is to ours.”
