Well done to the primary pupils who received certificates last week for taking part in the Shakespeare Schools Festival after working with staff from Shotton Hall.
Shakespeare Schools Festival is an annual event that aims to develop self-esteem, articulacy, literacy and teamwork through the unique power of performance and, of course, Shakespeare.
After eight weeks of rehearsals, pupils from our partner primary schools performed The Tempest at The Gala Theatre Durham alongside our Year 8 drama club who performed a hip hop version of Romeo and Juliet.
Well done to everyone involved.
