At The Academy at Shotton Hall, we love to celebrate the hard work and kindness of our students both in and out of the classroom.
Our thoughtful and dedicated Year 10 student, Blake Evans, volunteers at the Acre Rigg Bereavement Group weekly and often makes cards and other crafts for the group to sell to raise funds.
The group aims to help rehabilitate children in Year 3 - 6 after the loss of a loved one and was first started by Blake's mother after the loss of his Grandad.
Well done Blake - you are a true role model!
