Congratulations to Lucy and Ryan Stones who recently competed in the World Martial Arts World Championships.
Year 7 student Lucy fought amazingly well against teams from Canada, Italy, South Africa, USA, Wales and England and came 2nd overall in her category.
Year 9 student Ryan did incredibly well making it to the finals, but sadly had to pull out due to a groin injury and was understandably hugely disappointed.
Both Lucy and Ryan arrived home full of aches and pains, but exhilarated from the experience!
Lucy also attended the Tyne And Wear Open Saturday World Kickboxing Organisation: WKO contest placing 1st!
