A group of talented Year 7 students took to the stage as our traditional 'New Starters' Concert' was held last week.
Singing, dancing, brass, string and so much more was highlighted in our theatre as our brave first years performed to family and friends on Tuesday, last week.
Mrs Peel, who organised the concert, spoke of her delight for the new starters:
"My lovely little Year 7's were amazing! Some of them are so small but have so much confidence and they are a credit to their family's and this school. Every year there is so much talent and this year once again didn't disappoint!"
Mrs Peel added:
"The starters' concert is such a good way to welcome the new students into the performing arts department and we have so many Christmas events coming up in the next month that they can get involved with".
The Academy would like to welcome all to our annual Christmas concert on December 18th.
