Today we were joined by a group of Year 5 pupils from local primary schools for a geography taster session based on adaptation.
Pupils from Shotton Hall, Shotton, Blackhall, Howletch and Cotsford primary schools learned about the rainforest and enjoyed getting creative. They had fun designing pop up models of specially adapted animals.
Well done to all pupils who took part, with congratulations to our three winners (pictured above) who were awarded for their excellent ideas and designs of adaptation.
The visit from Year 5 pupils was part of our ongoing transition program that makes moving to secondary school easier thanks to regular visits to the Academy.
