A group of Year 5 students from our local primary schools came to visit us yesterday to get to know the school better and to make delicious pizza!
The event was organised as part of our transition programme that ensures a smooth start to secondary school through regular visits. The group enjoyed looking around the school, making the pizzas and then, of course, eating them too - yum!
Mr Bradley, our food technology teacher said: "The children were a wonderful group, they tried really hard and they were very polite. I really enjoyed getting to know some of our future students."
We are looking forward to welcoming more Year 5 students in the next few months.
