We are very pleased to announce that we have won the Secondary School contribution to Sport and Physical Activity Award in the annual East and South East Durham Sport and Physical Activity Awards 2017-18.
The award recognises not only our excellent GCSE PE results this summer but also the extra curricular activities and opportunities that are provided to students at the Academy and the many sporting competitions we have been successful in.
Well done to all who contributed, in particular, our fantastic PE department (pictured below).
