A very lucky group of singers from Years 8, 9 and 10 took part in a singing workshop with the famous Royal Opera House conductor from Covent Garden - Alister Dawes and his professional opera singer wife - Lesley Ann.
Alistair has travelled widely in his career as conductor, coach and accompanist, working with the top international artists and ensembles of the operatic world.
His workshop put our students through their paces singing opera in English, German and Italian!
It was a great opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge and meet someone from the world of opera. Well done to all involved.
