Earlier this term, we had an exciting visit from Boom Kids, one of the largest producers of children's content in the UK for the likes of CITV, S4C, BBC and ITV Wales. The producers ran a Project Z workshop for 24 of our aspiring Year 8 students in a bid to find five stars for the production.

Project Z is a children's game show which involves five students finding refuge in their school against the swarm of infected zombies, or 'zeds'. The students need to solve puzzles and problems and try to avoid or trap the Zeds to escape from school.

For the 'auditions', students assumed the roles of zombies and acted out swarm scenes and then talked through a zombie story to camera, before giving the producers a tour of the school. The footage of the casting is now with the producers of ITV, along with other schools, for their deliberation. Good luck!
