Massive well done to Liam Lightowler who recently came first overall in his category in the Durham County Junior Golf Tour.
The competition was made up of five rounds, Liam won two rounds and came runner up in the others. Liam walked away with a handful of trophies and, for placing first overall, he received a golf goodie bag from Durham County.
The top four golfers from the competition were also selected to represent Durham County in the Regional Cup against Cumbria and Northumberland. Unfortunately on the final day, Durham came runners up to Northumberland. Liam played really well again, winning both of his opponents.
