The North East learning Trust is a growing multi-academy Trust which covers the north east of England. All schools in the Trust share a simple, shared vision - that every child experiences excellence every day. We are committed to working together to ensure that every child thrives in a safe, stimulating environment where they develop a deep love of learning that will stay with them for their whole lives.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and experienced leader as Director of Research and Professional Development - an exciting new position within the Trust. You will be driven by a commitment to create the best possible opportunities for all young people and will have experience and expertise in not only developing the use of research and high quality professional development at a whole school or wider level, but in utilising it to drive standards and raise achievement.
You should be an experienced leader and an outstanding classroom practitioner with an outstanding track record of success both within the classroom and at a whole school level. You will be able to develop and deliver high quality professional development, building systems and procedures necessary to embed and ensure the highest quality of provision across the trust.
You will be interested in developing your role across both secondary and primary phases and in working with all staff, teaching and non-teaching, within the Trust. We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, driven and focussed and who can successfully use a wide range of strategies to deliver consistency and engagement. You will also help to develop our new Trust wide online CPD platform.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead role in shaping the future of the North East Learning Trust and to join an exceptional team who are already driving forward high quality teaching practice across the Trust, our alliance and the region.
