While the rest of us were in school, a group of Year 9 students visited London to focus on their new GCSE topic of crime and punishment.

The students took part in a lots of fun, and sometimes scary, activities during their trip, learning all they need to know for the new GCSE topic.

The activites included a visit to London's 'most notorious medieval prison', the ‘Clink’, and the world famous London Dungeons where they put Mr Mann on trial... and later in jail!

Also on the list of actvities was a spooky Jack the Ripper walking tour around Whitechapel at night as well as a London policing and inner city walking tour which were both highlights of the students' visit.

Of course, the students couldn't go to London to learn about crime and punishment without going to The Tower of London to visit the Crown Jewels.

Everyone had a great time and came back to school with lots of spooky stories and thankfully no one was left in the 'Clink'!
