Well done to talented student Zara who was recently crowned as the junior winner of the Champion of Champions tap category in a top national competition.
Zara, who has been involved in dancing since she was four days old, dances at Hartlepool-based Val Armstrong School of Performing Arts.
Zara's mum Jan said: "We were not expecting Zara to win. We thought it was an achievement just to get to the finals of a big competition where they were coming from all over the country as well as Wales and Scotland."
Not only did Zara get the honour of winning, but she also won a summer school scholarship at Phil Winston’s summer school in Blackpool. She will attend the school in August. Well done Zara!
