Super talented Courtney Hadwin in Year 7 won the Best of Hartlepool's Performer of the Year Award last night for her incredible singing voice.
Courtney had been shortlisted to the final three from the hundreds of applicants alongside a dancer and a girl band called Sparkle.
Courtney said: "I cried when they announced me as the winner. I didn't think I had a chance of winning because the competition was so tough."
The Heart radio presenter who presented the award commented to Courtney that as well as mentioning the winners on the radio this morning, he would probably be playing her music one day too.
Courtney is also a finalist in the Beyond the Lights awards ceremony this Saturday. There is no stopping this girl! Best of luck.
