Year 10 decided to collect donations for Monica's Romanian Dog Shelter this Christmas.
As you can see in the picture above, they received lots of generous donations of food, blankets and toys from staff and students (clearly we have lots of dog lovers in our school!). The donations will be taken to Romania over the weekend just in time for Christmas.
Miss McManus, Year 10 learning manager said: "I could not be more proud of the students. This is something that 10S2 decided that they wanted to do and the rest of the year group got involved wholeheartedly. The amount of food, treats and blankets that we have collected is absolutely amazing and will help the orphaned dogs hugely. What an amazing effort from the whole group!"
Well done Year 10 - there will certainly be some very happy dogs in Romania this Christmas.
