Well done to the four Year 10 girls who won the Foundation of Light Enterprise Challenge last week after coming up with a fantastic idea to increase the fan base and income from the USA for SAFC.
Each year, P4L students take part in the challenge at the Stadium of Light and this is the first time a team from The Academy at Shotton Hall has won!
The groups are given a different entrepreneurial task each year and then have to present their ideas to a panel of judges before they decide who wins. The winning group created a McDonald’s monopoly collection for America with free giveaways (shirts, free tickets, package deal etc) depending on how many stickers collected.
The girls got presented with trophies from Kevin Ball and will now take part in the Regional final at Stoke City - well done and good luck!
