The word revision can often mean hours spent with your head buried in books, but not for these Year 11s who were lucky enough to experience some revision with a difference at Robin Hood's Bay last Friday. After a walk on the beach, the studious bunch completed three short essays with immediate feedback from their teachers. They then took part in a pub style quiz in the hostel overlooking the bay with rounds including quotes, literature knowledge, song lyrics and general knowledge.
Saturday morning saw students taking part in three carousel activities looking at the main texts for their English literature exam: Jekyll and Hyde, Macbeth and An Inspector Calls.
Well done to everyone involved and to the teachers who accompanied them for giving up their Friday night takeaways!
