Well done to Caitlin Stephenson whose photo will be featured in a calendar after winning the Bright Water photography competition earlier this week.
Year 11 student Caitlin became interested in photography last year after taking a shine to the work of photographer Ansel Adams who specialises in landscape photos. When Caitlin saw the competition, aimed to highlight the heritage and people of the region across the changing seasons, she knew she had to enter.
Caitlin's photo named 'finding peace' (shown in the photo above), taken at Hardwick Park, will illustrate April in the 2017 calendar. Caitlin will also attend a special award ceremony in November to celebrate her achievement.
