Students and staff remembered the fallen today, Armistice Day, with a two minute silence. The silence is an act of remembrance for the thousands of people who fought and died in our country's wars.
Students from the local marine, air and army cadets wore their uniforms to mark the day, and stood in formation as Year 9 student Sophie Reed played The Last Post on her cornet to the entire school.
Our young cadets also took part in remembrance parades across the county over the weekend, with one student even going as far afield as London to help set up the ceremony near Buckingham Palace.
