A group of our Year 7 & 8s enjoyed a day out at Beamish Museum this week.
Linked to their study of Victorian Britain in English; students were tasked to visit different 'workers' in the museum such as solicitors, shop owners etc and present an argument on why they need to donate money to charity. Their debate skills were exceptional and two of the groups got the maximum amount of money due to them pulling on the workers heart strings which made one of them break character and feel emotional!
Well done everyone!
