Year 7 student Tyler Reeve recently took on the challenge of baking the periodic table as part of a science homework project.

The science project, which aimed to encourage students to learn more of the elements in the periodic table, challenged students to a number of different activities such as baking the periodic table or making a 3D version of the periodic table. Tyler was the only person in his class to choose the baking option which kept him busy all night last night.

As you can see from the result (pictured above), it was worth it and now he can just enjoy eating them. Well done Tyler.

A periodic table is a table of all the chemical elements arranged in order of atomic number, usually in rows, so that elements with similar atomic structure (and hence similar chemical properties) appear in vertical columns.
