Overview

From September 2014 the government has asked all local authorities in the UK to publish a SEND information report. This information can be found below.

What is the SEND information report?

This is information about the services and provision they expect to be available in their area for children and young people from 0 to 25 who have special educational needs and/or a disability (SEND). This should all be found in one place.

In addition, every school has to publish what they can offer their own pupils. At the Academy we are an inclusive school and cater for a wide range of individual needs. Please feel free to explore this area of the site which should explain in more detail the provision that will be made for your child at The Academy at Shotton Hall.

If you would like to find out more, please contact our SENCo, Angie Mein on angie.mein@shottonhallacademy.co.uk or call the school on 0191 518 0222.

Compliments and complaints

Please tell us what you think about our local offer by emailing our SENCo Angie Mein on angie.mein@shottonhallacademy.co.uk or call the school directly on 0191 518 0222.
