Carina Tomlinson

Carina has worked in further education and skills for over 25 years, predominately and most recently in a college. She also spent some time in the local authority libraries service. 

Carina has worked in a variety of roles in further education starting in a support role, moving into teaching and then management, overseeing all aspects of college provision.

She is currently the Vice Principal for curriculum and performance at East Durham College; her responsibilities cover pre and post-16 learning, apprenticeships, higher education, safeguarding, student services and quality assurance and improvement. 

Carina has lived in the East Durham area all of her life and works hard to ensure that the area has the best possible provision to ensure our young people can progress to destinations which will have a positive impact upon their lives.
